perfectly positioned for exploring west yellowstone

I loved how close this place was to the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center and the stunning views along the Yellowstone River, making my weekend city strolls all the more enjoyable while discovering the local attractions nearby. it truly complemented my goal of exploring the area without fuss.

Both a hit and a miss

Rooms are kept clean & comfortable. The inviting kitchen area added a nice touch. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby enriched the experience.

The lack of breakfast options is disappointing, and some amenities feel basic and dated despite good upkeep.

Additionally, the community kitchen lacks locking capability, which could give some guests an uneasy feeling about security. The shower head had some issues due to hard water, which might need a little extra cleaning.

The Standard Queen Room was clean and comfy enough for a good night's sleep after exploring Yellowstone. The bed was decent and well-maintained, but the room was on the smaller side. Check-in was easy, and I appreciated the no-frills vibe. Water pressure in the shower was great, which was a plus! It felt safe and convenient for my solo trip.

The location was perfect for exploring the area, though the shared kitchen was a nice bonus we enjoyed. Our room was clean, and the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job every day. The water pressure in the shower was a highpoint, providing a refreshing start to our day. Also, the city view from our window added to the charm of our stay.

city center motel is a cozy spot just 2.5 blocks from the park entrance. the beds were super comfy, and the hot water was great. the woman at the front desk was incredibly nice, making our stay even better. perfect for solo explorers!
